To whom it may concern, It is my extreme pleasure to write to you upon an almost tragic vacation plan gone astray. We were on our way to Florida whereas the air conditioning system of my 2003 Toyota Corolla quit. It was a Friday afternoon (2:30pm0 whereas I was recommended by a friend to go to 1000 Islands Toyota Dealer located Brockville, Ontario). My companion said: ?We cannot go to Florida!? since the temperature was around 90 degrees. So we went directly to 1000Islands Toyota, walked in to the service counter where a very fine young man received me as if I was a family member. I told him my story of woe and asked if it would be possible for him to take a look at our air conditioning. He told me it would be about 30 minutes before he could bring my car in the garage to have it looked over and I inquired if there was any place we could go in the area to wait for the car. He recommended to go to the local shopping centre and he told us that it was about 15 minutes walk or that if we would like, he would drive us there. We accepted this generous offer and went to the center whereas we stopped for some coffee and approximately 20 minutes later, we were sitting on a bench outside and I received a call on my cell phone, saying that my car was ready. The man said: ?Mr. Stein, the car is ready and you can go to Florida?. I was shocked and could not believe that the car was ready within one hour of arriving unannounced at the garage. He asked me if we would like him to send a car again to bring us back to the garage to which we gladly agreed. The driver came and drove us back whereas I met the father of the service representative as we entered the garage to pay the bill and pick up the car. I had a few words with the father of this young man, whose name I believe was Jonathan, who took care of us so marvelously. I told him that he has one very special son who certainly could make people who come off the road with a problem feel very welcome with his efficiency and wonderful manners. He saved our holiday that we were looking so forward to as we really needed a holiday in this particular time in our life. I would like to take this opportunity to thank 1000 Islands Toyota for saving our holiday and treating us so wonderfully. I hope that you can give them a reward for the manner of how they conduct their business. We have been auctioneers in the automobile industry for many many years as well as my late dad and both my son and daughter. I was also a past president of the Canadian Auctioneers Association. I bought my first Toyota seven years ago and I?ve had Toyotas ever since. I congratulate you for having a dealer of this stature that made our holiday a most wonderful experience, including the waiting that we talked about for the three weeks that we were on holiday. I had promised my lady friend that I will send a letter to Toyota to let them know how satisfied we were with this dealership. I apologies for not sending this letter much earlier due to some family illness and I was also loaded with work. But I certainly feel good that I got this letter to you people to let you know of the wonderful service we had the pleasure of receiving from 1000 Islands Toyota. Your Staff has been exceptional in every way. I have had 12 NEW cars in my life and never used a dealership for any servicing due to higher cost and long waits. But this is not the case at 1000 Islands Toyota. Keep up the good work and congratulations.

Dear Mr. walker. On Friday, June 19/09 on my way to Ottawa for a family visit, my car was making a strange noise and I ended up at your dealership. To my surprise I was informed that I needed a new differential and transmission-my car only had 11,244 km's registered. Needless to say I was very upset and disheartened. The reason I am writing to you is to first express my sincere appreciation to your employee Jonathan Walker. He was very professional and exceptionally accommodating. He noted that my situation was very odd. He went out of his way in helping me arrange hotel accommodations in Brockville for my return on Sunday to pick up my car on Monday. I sincerely want to thank you for providing me with a vehicle to continue my trip to Ottawa. I was in touch with my dealership upon my return home and I told them how exceptionally well you had helped me through this unsettling situation. I told them that I would certainly hope that they would also be very helpful and accommodating to others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Fyi, the owner said he had never heard of this happening before with a vehicle with under 12,000km's in his 21 years of business. To sum it up-you certainly are a great credit as a Toyota family member. Much success and keep up your great work.

Rick! Just wanted to let you know on a personal level. I could not be happier with my matrix. Dmitri was knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions. Chris was very helpful in making all happen (Leasing) and insuring my stress level was manageable. I am thrilled to be part of the Toyota family!

Dear Mr. Walker Rick, I wanted to write this lette to thank you and your staff for the superb experience we had at your dealership when we purchased our 2010 matrix three weeks ago. We were greeted on the lot within 2 minutes of our arrival by Dmitri Senkov, who first listen to our inquiries and helped us decide on the type of vehicle we wanted. He then took it out of its parking slot and led us through all the features from the fuse box in the engine to the spare tire in the back. His thorough knowledge and description of the features of the Matrix were excellent. His pride in the Toyota product was so genuine, it was contagious. We took the car for a test drive and upon our return said we would be back, but first wanted to visit several other dealerships to compare cars in a similar price range. He did not in anyway try to dissuade us or cut down the competition and hoped to see us later in the day. We visited the KIA dealership for Soul, GM for the Vibe and Ford for the Focus and test drove them all. The deciding factors to return to your dealership were as follows: firstly, the salesman Dmitri, second was the dealership itself and lastly the reputation of Toyota. At no other dealership were we as comfortable as we were with Dmitri. You should be commended for the high standard of dress, deportment, knowledge and friendliness of your staff at all levels. You should also commend yourself for having the best kept dealership in town, from your brightly lit, absolutely gleaming showroom to your equally spotless washrooms. The whole place reeked of professionalism and pride of ownership. We left assured that the service on our vehicle would receive the same high level of perfection. On the closing, Dmitri was very helpful in recommending we sell our 8 year old Sentra privately instead of trading it in. he gave us the wholesale price and took us through the auto trader to show what we could expect retail wise. He was right on the money and we made $2,000 more than trading it in. He also worked with your sales manager on a couple of things to close the deal and pointed out the benefits of 0% financing. When we returned to pick up the vehicle 8 days later (we had asked your people to keep it for a week while we tried to sell our old car), Dmitri took us through a thorough and complete check list from financing to the manual. He then introduced us to all the service people and provided cards for all of them ? all of this four hours before his actual shift was to begin (we discovered this from another associate). Just a note here ? dropped in last week to your service bay because I was having problems with the last bolt on the old license plates on the old car ? just would not come off. Your service manager brought over a mechanic and he did the job for me ? at no cost. This simple gesture has convinced me to do all my servicing at your dealership ? if you don?t nickel and dime on the small stuff, you won?t do it on the large stuff. Thank you again Rick for terrific experience and feel free to show this letter to whomever you please.

Dear Rick! I was in a car accident. A Buick Rendevous turned in front of me on County Rd. 29, with me traveling at 80km/h. My 2001 Toyota Corolla was written off in this accident. However, the little gem protected me. I was uninjured except for being shaked up. A tribute to Toyota engineering. Hats off not only to this but Gary Merkley, and Joe Doyle who helped my wife Teresa and I to a seamless transfer to another Corolla. This was a great help to us. Dear Barry. My apologies for being so late with this. Many thanks for all your hard work and patience in finding my ?Mini Beast?. I?ve figured out most of the bells and whistles but some buttons still need work. I really appreciated the at home delivery service, especially with me just returning from my trip.
