Vehicle Sales Representative

1000 Islands Toyota is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as a full-time vehicle sales representative.

1000 Islands Toyota is built on providing excellent customer service, a premium product offering and a rewarding and inclusive work environment. The successful candidate will be someone with excellent communication, sales and customer services skills who is internally driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner whether they come into our store, call over the phone or reach out to us over email or online chat.
  • Gain and understanding Toyota’s full product line and many product features through training offered by the dealership and manufacturer.
  • Listen to and understand customer needs to ensure they are provided with the vehicle that is the perfect fit for them.
  • Maintain a high level of organization regarding current and prospective customers to ensure an excellent customer service experience from first meeting to delivery and throughout the customers ownership lifespan.
  • Meet monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals set by management.
  • Take customers through a developed sales process including:
  • Initial greeting, fact finding and test drive
  • Follow up if required
  • Taking down information on trade in vehicles for the sales manager to review
  • Setting initial numbers and working with the sales manager to finalize a deal
  • Providing a hand off to the finance and insurance manager
  • Delivery of the vehicle to the customer
  • Sequential follow up to confirm satisfaction and to answer any questions

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience
  • Valid Ontario drivers license G class
  • Valid OMVIC license

Finance and Insurance Sales Manager

1000 Islands Toyota is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as our full-time finance and insurance sales manager.   

The successful candidate will be someone with excellent communication, sales and customer services skills along with an ability to maintain all of the paperwork and scheduling required to run an effective and efficient business office.  1000 Islands Toyota is a busy dealership which will provide strong income potential for individuals capable of working within a fast-paced environment.   

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to obtain financing through lenders on vehicle purchases in conformance with provincial and federal laws
  • Sell other products offered by the dealership and manufacturer such as warranties and insurance.
  • Ensure compliance within all finance and other product deals, associated paperwork and processes and uphold strict legal and ethical standards while conducting business.
  • Provide a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties, and of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
  • Prepare all required documents regarding vehicle and product purchases in a timely manner and in accordance with established laws and procedures
  • Maintain manufacturer targets for product sales
  • Maintain effective working relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
  • Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company and manufacturer standards
  • Perform other duties as required
