Reception / Sales Administration

1000 Islands Toyota is looking for an energetic people person to join our team as a receptionist / Sales Administration Assistant.

As the first point of contact between 1000 Islands Toyota and our customers both on the phone and in person the ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys communicating with people and can ensure that each and every person who visits the dealership has an excellent customer experience and retains a positive impression of the dealership.

As the sales administrative assistant this candidate will be the online voice and videographer for all new and used car videos posted online. They will be organized, familiar with social media, passionate about cars and adept at building interest in the vehicles by identifying key features and benefits.

Schedule

2 week rotation

Week 1

  • Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Week 2

  • Tuesday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Reception Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, vendors and visitors when they enter the dealership and help direct them based on their needs.
  • Operate a multiple line phone system and transfer calls within the dealership to the four main departments.
  • Direct all calls accurately, with ease while minimizing hold times.
  • Make follow up calls to sales and service customers.
  • Perform data entry and order office supplies.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Sales Administration Responsibilities

  • Review and maintenance of new and used inventory through CDemo to ensure photos and videos are loaded for all new and used cars.
  • Management of the you tube channel to ensure all videos are loaded and key frames are set for highest impact.
  • Assist with licensing as required.
  • Assist sales team with administrative work as required.

Minimum requirements

  • Valid class G drivers license
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year prior office experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Automotive Technician

Automotive Technician

1000 Islands Toyota is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our service team as a full-time technician. 

1000 Islands Toyota is built on providing excellent customer service, a premium product offering and a rewarding and inclusive work environment.  The successful candidate will hold a valid Ontario 310S License, be a strong problem solver who is passionate about the automotive industry and doing things right the first time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Complete all work on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Perform road tests before and after all repairs to ensure the job is accurately diagnosed and done right the first time.
  • Work with service advisors to recommend additional repairs where required
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles
  • Perform pre-safety and safety work on dealership owned vehicles
  • Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage and perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Ensure all repair work is clearly and accurately documented

What We Are Looking For

  • Drive for quality workmanship
  • Able to complete tasks efficiently and accurately the first time
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Eager to learn and ability to adapt
  • Toyota training is an asset

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario 310S license / Automotive Service Technician Certification
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
  • 3-5 years’ experience working as an automotive technician
